Child & Family Services to Prevent and Protect
The well-being of children is essential to the future of a healthy, functional, and thriving community – and vice versa. Through our programs we seek to address the needs of children as well as work to alleviate the systemic issues that challenge our communities.
The happiness, safety, and well-being of our children can only start with a healthy family and a supportive community. Our vision at QBOW Child & Family Services Inc. is to preserve healthy families by using the positive intents of culture and traditions as the base for development in each respective community.
Serving First Nation families, children, and community members throughout southern Saskatchewan, QBOW Child & Family Services works to preserve healthy family values through traditions based on the spiritual, emotional and mental aspects of life. Since the very beginning, our Agency has promoted a safe, healthy environment for all Agency First Nation families and children.
Through our commitment to protection and prevention services with respect to indigenous culture and tradition we aim to bring lasting positive change and healing to the communities we serve.
Our work is always done in compliance with the legislation and standards of the province of Saskatchewan, federal policy mandates and the First Nations principles of Indian Control.
We provide essential protective services to improve the lives of our children and the families that are so necessary to their development.
